What are the requirements for two color mould?

As the name implies, a two color mould is a mould in which a part is made by injection moulding of two plastics. In a broad sense, the two color injection mould is realized by two injections on an ordinary injection moulding machine. The narrow two color injection mould refers to the use of two color injection moulding machine to complete parts with two different plastics on the same injection moulding machine. The common one is rotary two color injection mould.

Ordinary two color moulds do not require high equipment, but the production efficiency is low. They are basically only suitable for the moulding of two materials that do not require a high degree of soft and hard rubber. Good two color moulds have good application scope and product quality and high production efficiency.

The material of the two color injection mould must meet two conditions: compatibility of adhesion and compatibility of processing. In addition, the following requirements must also be met:

• 1. The oil circuit has ACC accumulator high-speed injection and closed circuit design.
• 2. Mixed nozzles, special nozzles such as patterns, waves, flow marks, gradients, and sandwiches;
• 3. Injection unit, parallel same direction, parallel opposite direction, horizontal and vertical L-shaped, Y-shaped single-cylinder injection structure;
• 4. Clamping mould, standard type, vertical turntable type, horizontal turntable type, shaft type, manipulator rotation type and other mechanisms;
• 5. Feeding, in addition to the standard hydraulic motor drive, there is also an ESD (ElectricScrewDrive) electric feeding structure;
